The Rockridge Community Planning Council embarked upon the Community Vision planning process to engage and activate residents to collaboratively develop a plan for our neighborhood’s future.

On February 10, RCPC launched the Community Vision Plan (CVP) at a Town Hall meeting attended by nearly 100 community members.

RCPC convened a town hall meeting in late Spring 2022 during which JCCEB presented its proposed plans for the property. 

RCPC is launching the Rockridge Community Vision Plan! The process will include several opportunities to weigh in on priorities for our neighborhood within multiple working groups, as well as online.

The JCCEB, RCPC, and residents on the 5800/5900 block of Chabot Rd. negotiated and entered into a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA).

Please join us in our Community Vision efforts by volunteering to bring your thoughts, dreams, and skills to the table. 

The RCPC Board has not taken a position on the project and believe that it is too early to do so for a number of reasons…

The Kitchen Tour committee has selected eight kitchens and two ADUs to be featured on this year’s tour, and is now turning to the vital task of recruiting another great group of Kitchen Tour docents.

Every day, residents of Rockridge see, use, or benefit from projects and undertakings, big and small, that have been originated, sponsored, supported, paid for, negotiated for, or defended through litigation by RCPC.

We have fourteen candidates who have stepped up to run for six open spots on the board — so we’ve got a race on our hands!

Neighbors can volunteer for the KT Committee and serve as docents.

For the last year and a half, representatives of the Jewish Community Center of the East Bay (JCC) have periodically held joint meetings with representatives of RCPC and neighbors.
