RCPC Elections are held each spring at the yearly membership meeting, usually convened on the third Thursday in April, and the following Saturday.

Any resident who has his or her principal residence within the area of the City of Oakland contained within RCPC boundaries and is at least 18 years or older, is eligible to run for a seat on the RCPC board, and may vote in the election.

The membership meeting is ordinarily held in the evening at the Rockridge Branch Library at 5366 College Avenue. Saturday voting is held in front of the Library or in the foyer. Times are announced in the The Rockridge News.

In 2020, the Annual Meeting was postponed to September 24 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
