Annual RCPC-Greater Rockridge NCPC Joint Town Hall Meeting

The Annual RCPC-Greater Rockridge NCPC Joint Town Hall Meeting will feature valuable information about becoming better prepared to cope with future disasters or emergencies, including what equipment and supplies you need to have available, how you can receive training, and how you can organize your block to be better prepared.  Also, normal NCPC review of priority issues etc.

RCPC Annual Meeting and April Town Hall Meeting

The Rockridge Community Planning Council will hold its annual membership meeting and election of members of the board of directors in conjunction with the April Town Hall Meeting, which will include a short update on the Rockridge Housing Study and a presentation on Senators Weiner and Skinner's bill, SB 50.  The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the Rockridge Branch Library, at 5366 College Ave.

RCPC Town Hall - Reuse/Redevelopment of California College of Art Campus

At the Rockridge Library meeting room - An updated presentation of plans for reuse/redevelopment of the California College of Art's Oakland campus on the East side of Broadway just north of Shops at the Ridge.  The proposal includes  almost six-hundred units of housing, including a nineteen-story tower.

Special Town Hall - 15th Assembly District Candidates' Night

RCPC, The Oakland League of Women Voters, The College Preparatory School, and East Bay Housing Organizations are proud to co-sponsor a special Town Hall Candidates' Forum for the two 15th Assembly District Candidates:  Jovanka Beckles and Buffy Wicks.  This special meeting will be held at the auditorium of the College Preparatory School, located at 6100 Broadway.   (Parking available)

RCPC-Oakland League of Women Voters Joint Election Town Hall - Ballot Measures Pro & Con

RCPC Annual Meeting and April Town Hall

The April RCPC Town Hall Meeting doubles as RCPC's annual meeting and election of Board of Directors members.  This year, there are five candidates running for six seats on the Board.  At the meeting, each candidate will give a short statement about themself and why they are running, followed by questions from the audience. 

March RCPC Town Hall - BART bikeshare Station and More

The City of Oakland Department of Transportation (OakDOT), BART, and Motivate will present the results of the public feedback received about alternative locations for the Ford GoBike bikeshare station at the Rockridge BART station on College Ave.  There was an initiial discussion at the January Town Hall meeting and a follow-up walk-through of alternative locations on February 22nd to gather public input.  The City will report on the results of that input and the proposed plans for moving forward with a permanent location for this central bikeshare location in Rockridge.
